View from Latin Works
Here's the view from the LatinWorks meeting room. It makes sense to be up in the clouds when you're brainstorming.

New Song: "The Last Dance"
New Song:
"The Last Dance"
Written by: Matt Miller & Garren Hogan
Music by: Garren Hogan
Lead Vocals: Garren
Background Vocals: Matt & MJ Richardson
Lyics:
Intro:
I dedicate this song to you,
cause you're my darling, my baby blue
So kiss me now cuz its my only chance
And take my hand, cuz its the last dance
Verse 1:
Getting ready for the dance.
Chuck taylors and denim pants
Hop into the Chevy,
Keys turned and the pedal's heavy
Verse 2:
At the dance without a date
Should've asked Suzie, but its too late.
She's so pretty, I'm an outsider.
There's Tom, standing right beside her.
Verse 3:
One song left and yet to dance
Not a gal left who'll give me a chance
Turning for the door like a little coward
There all alone was my lil wallflower
Chorus 1:
1-Light on her feet in the dance and the spin
woooooo
2-I get chills from her eyes and... porcelain skin
3-Above the music, I hear her whisper
wooooo
4-Words so sweet, they... make me shiver.
5-How could no one notice my lil wallflower
Verse 4:
Driving her home under moon and stars
Whispered she always loved the after hours
Windows down and its cold as snow
Offered her my jacket and she smiles “No”
Verse 5:
Passing the county line, living so far
All the way pass the city graveyard
I confess that the dead scare me the most
Smiling she says, “What? You afraid of ghosts?"
Verse 6:
Such a lonely house without a light
Not a fire fly or owl in sight
At her door, I moved closer to her lips
And let me tell ya my heart stopped when we kissed
Chorus 2:
Light on our feet in the moment we're in
woooooo
I get chills from her eyes and porcelain skin
In the midst of silence I heard her whisper
woooooo
Words so sweet... they make me shiver
She said, "it's a bit late for this wilted wallflower"
Outro:
Back to her house on the very next day
Come to find out to my dismay
Her mother answers with this chilling fact...

Art I Bought in a Coffee Shop
Here are some drawings I bought from a coffee shop in Orlando, Stardust Cafe.
These drawings were done by the coffee shop owner's daughter while they were on a family vacation in Asheville, North Carolina to see Sonic Youth in concert - (Notice the canvas of these drawings is the hotel stationary). I like the "How to..." aspect of these drawings from such a young artist. I feel like this is the work of an artist in the making.
Step 1... pick your colors
Step 2... draw a shape
