AN OLDER POST FROM MY FACEBOOK NOTES
More "Luck" for the Gringo
More "Luck" for the Gringo
A few days ago my Ecuadorian Mother asked me how come the family dog "Gotita" (or "Gotis" for short) hadn't made it into my notes.
Well...Gotis is a cute, white, and fluffy poodle that never leaves the house.
She reminds me alot of Snuggles...

She reminds me alot of Snuggles...
Snuggles... the mysterious fluffy animal that sells fabric softener.
Don't know Snuggles? You can see Snuggles in action here:

I had taken pictures and commented about every other family member but Gotis. Well, I told her that Gotis hadn't done anything really interesting or worth commenting for my faceblog.
Well... yesterday, that all changed...
Yesterday, when I arrived home, Gotis got really excited to see me. Usually she just barks at me like I am a burglar. However, this time she seemed honestly excited. So I bent down to play with her and wrestle with her. As I held onto her and rolled her over, I felt a wet sensation on my hand.
Yep, you guessed it. Gotis peed on me.
That is the face of guilt... ...can't even look me in the eye.
I was kind of offended when this happened. I thought to myself, was this Gotis playing a trick on me or does Gotis have Urinary Incontinence?
Did you know that U.I. plaques over 12 million women worldwide?
Read about it here:

I'm sorry, but I don't know the statistics for dogs.
But I would think it would be the same, since all women are dogs, right?
And, I think Gotis needs to watch this video:
"Mind Over Bladder"

... it will change the way you think about Urinary Incontinence.
Maria Paz assured me that Gotis did this on accident and that she pees when she gets excited. Augusto told me it was a sign of good luck.
I think winning the lottery is a sign of good luck, not getting urinated on.
And by the way, we didn't win the lottery.
We were only off by 4 numbers on one card.
I still feel lucky... I'm gonna buy again.
I think I'm addicted...
